oi! tudo bem? thats about the only thing i know in portuguese so go me. this week was pretty fun! after emailing last week we got to go out on the streets for a few hours which was a blast. the acai here is to die for!! im obesessed. theres some pretty cool stores around the ctm. today i think were going to some bakery, a candy store and a cookie shop so keep my weight in your prayers. kidding kind of. this week started off rough because like half of my friends in the ctm left which was super sad actually. its crazy how fast you get super close to people here. a blessing and a curse. yesterday we got to go on splits w the brazillians which was actually super fun. i didnt teach much because like my comp was fluent so i kind of just let her do her thang. but a learning experience nonetheless! my favorite activity to do in the mtc is for sure fisica actividade. we play super competitive volleyball with the brazillians every night and lets just say my volleyball class in high school totall

IM ALIVE. its been a long 11 day haul to email but im almost two weeks in! the ctm is a great place and no doubt has thee coolest instructors, faculty and missionaries obvi. brazillians are hilarious!! i for reals have never laughed so hard in my life. none of them know how to pronounce my last name either so its fun to watch them try. days at the ctm are fairly long... they are so jam packed with lessons and studying that i never ever ever have any free time. safe to say i never fully realized the reality of having a constant companion, learning a foreign language or having a crazy structured schedule. I literally cherish my bathroom and shower time. learning a language is super frustrating i wont lie. but im trying to stay positive and know that the `dom de linguas` will come when it comes! ok so kind of crazy story on sunday my comp fainted while we were walking up the stairs (i caught her tho ok super heroic) and we got to take a little roadtrip to the brazil hospital!!
