a few highlights from this week:
- having american breakfast on christmas with americans
- one of our investigators was asking us why we walk so far each day and i said well we don't have a car and then her son offered us a ride..naturally we said no thanks and she replied "yeah i guess Jesus didn't have a car either"  hahaha touche girlie
- update on Luiz's cigar intake: he let me take his last pack away from him... and then bought more yesterday sooo were gonna need some love and prayers from my good americans. por favor
- and last the best of all the game, we have a baptism this week!! my good friend jeferson is getting baptized in the ocean on saturday! i am so beyond happy for him. he has come so far and has a testimony that will keep him where he is at for a long time. pics to come next week!

spiritual side of sister kener:
with the new year coming in hot, i would like to share a quote from "our search for happiness" by M Russell Ballard that says "the best thing about living a Christ-centered life is how it makes you feel. Its hard to have a negative attitude about things if and when your life is focused on the Prince of Peace. There will still be problems, everyone has them. But faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is a power to be reckoned with in the universe and in individual lives. As we commit ourselves to Jesus Christ spiritually, physically and emotionally, He blesses our lives with loving direction in every decision we make. Focus on the Prince of Peace this year, next year and always!

happy new year americans! i love you a brazilian!
